A couple weeks without an update. There's a fair bit of things I should probably fill in before talking about the future. I've put a fair bit of time in at work, so I should have a decent paycheck coming on monday. I'm apparently providing webhosting for Harper's student newspaper, though they've done nothing with it and I've had trouble getting ahold of them. Uh, what else... I bought a digital video camera, and Will has generously supplied me with a small tripod, so soon I should be able to start putting video content online in a much more timely manner. My main desktop computer, after a long downtime, is back up. There's some issue preventing it from being able to recieve incoming packets, regardless of network adapter, so that has to be addressed, but soon enough that will be fixed.
That about covers it, I think. Moving on to future plans. The foundations continue to be laid for United Hobbyists, and I'm slowly building things up to where I want it to be. I've shared my plan with a few people, and there seem to be a good number of people interested, so soon enough I'll be able to set things into action there. I'm saving up for a couple higher-end project parts, and I'm still making preparations for a practical field-test of my wearable designs. Unfortunately, it's taking me way too long to get anything accomplished in this regard - whatever I plan to do, I end up dreaming up a better way of doing it before I can get the previous idea implemented, so I'm not getting any demonstrable amount of work done in it. So now I'm sticking with a plan and not changing it until I can at least get one system working the way I first envisioned it.
...but that's another post. For now, I prepare for a day of errands, and continue trying to compose an email I should've written months ago.
You can see I'm single-minded
I know what I could be
How do you feel about it?
Come and take a walk with me
I'm looking for a partner
Regardless of expense
Think about it seriously
You know it makes sense
