(no subject)
So I am totally exhausted- but in a good way. I had a meeting for work at 10 am this morning across town, which meant leaving at 9 am in order to get there. It was short - lasting until 4 pm, and then we went to dave and buster's to celebrate one of the other GM's ( she is leaving) so basically it was "eat whatever you want, drink whatever you want" night. Needless to say, we all had WAY too much to drink. I alone probably racked up at least 60 bucks, so times that by 13 and you have the amount put on my boss' company card. Crazy. But it was fun - we played pool and then me and another GM and Robert (who came by) went to go play games (again on the boss) and finally got the stupid little gizmo that displays messages by a LED light on a pendulum that moves rapidly back and forth. He's wanted it for two years.
So then I came home and my buzz was killed by the large looming bills I've had to pay.
I paid off my car (FINALLY) with the 2 grand from my bonus, but just spent a crazy 192 dollars on my utilities, and tomorrow goes another 150 for the dogs vaccinations, then i have to pay for my new contacts (136 bucks) and the lenses for my new glasses prescription, added to the rent, another $650(BLAH). I'm not looking forward to seeing the money drain from my account.
And Robert's not any better off. He felt the brakes going out in his car, took it in, and they said everything was destroyed - brake pads, rotors and calipers. He also has been having horrible engine trouble that the automotive place couldn't figure out, so when he added a tune up to the brake job, they found a melted sensor that was making several engine parts not work right. Total cost: $1700. So needless to say, we are both broke.
BUT THANKFULLY WE HAD SOME FUN ON SOMEBODY ELSE'S TAB TONIGHT!!!!!!
