(no subject)
I could've sworn I had something I wanted to post about earlier but it seems to have left my brain. But I thought I'd go ahead and post anyway.
Seems I have a DVR box for my cable box and can record shows. I'm just wondering if they'll charge me the extra fee. I guess now I don't have to hurry and buy a new TiVo although I might get their brand new huge and exciting one that holds 150 hours of HD recording time. That's HUGE! 500 hours standard time. Of course, before I do that I need to get, you know, and HDTV. I started researching briefly yesterday but I still don't know what I'm going to get. My previous neighbors (aproposofnothin and without_me ) have a wonderful HDTV and I'm fairly certain I will be copying their choice.
There are (relatively) new photos of Harry and Draco together that are just making my little heart sing with joy. I'd post them but I'm too lazy.
And I'm completely loving my new MacBook. It's just one of the best things ever! And I'm so excited by the prospect of being able to learn exactly what this baby can do. Woo!!
We're expecting rain/wind over the weekend from the remnants of Ike. Although my thoughts are with the people on the coast in the hopes that the storm isn't very bad for them and hoping everyone stays safe, I'm a little excited for the rain. Is that wrong of me?
I did my first two loads of laundry last night in my very own apartment with my very own washer and dryer. It was one of the most exciting things I've experienced in a long time.
And now I should go to bed and try and catch up on some sleep I've been missing because I've been up reading/surfing the interwebs the last few nights instead of going to bed at a reasonable hour.
