let me tell ya 'bout the birds and the bees...

so this weekend i spent at cedar point which was awesome as usual... christine and i rode the new ride (the top thrill dragster) twice ...in case you are unfamiliar with this fine piece of machinery, it takes you from 0-120 miles per hour...yes 120MPH!!!... in an amazing 4 seconds! after that, it shoots you up 420 feet in the air, making it the tallest AND fastest roller coaster in the world... we ended up waiting probably a total of 5 hours for the two rides on it combined, but it was worth every minute of that because it is just amazing to go that fast and that high, even if the ride doesnt last THAT long ...but the main point of this story is that cedar point is awesome, christine and i figured out how to do it relatively cheaply, and we have season passes! so we are going to go a good number of times in order to "get our moneys worth" - even though as soon as we use them one more time each we will have already gotten more than our moneys worth =)

still no new updates on the job situation or on the student teaching situation (although i will be officially registering for student teaching sometime later this week i imagine) i still need to start working on my unit(s) for student teaching, but i think ill be fine, i have lots of ideas, i just need to put them on paper and polish them up and stuff ill keep you all posted on that stuff when i get more info

ok, heres a funny little problem that ill leave you all with: my car has a bee problem... yes, you read that right, my car has a bee problem in fact, to be even more specific, the gas tank of my car has a bee problem ive never seen anything like this before - when i open the little door to my gas tank in order to fill up my car, there is ALWAYS at least one (and up to four) bees just sitting inside there, usually stuck to a piece of honeycomb that they have built there... they dont really move around too much, and ive been spraying them with brake cleaner (which kills them INSTANTLY...and, another side note, im not really a fan of killing, not even killing bees...but there is something really cool about how instantly brake cleaner kills bees...you should try it sometime ;) anyway, as much as i enjoy watching them get sprayed with brake cleaner, i HATE having bees inside my gas door (or whatever its called) im afraid of bees, i hate killing things, i just want to refuel my car in peace... i dont know why they would go in my car, as opposed to other cars - it never happened before we moved to romulus so i wanna blame it on that, but it only happens to my car, never to my dads or lizs vehicles... i wanna blame it on the color of my car, because their vehicles are silver and dark blue (respectively) and my car is like, sunset red ...now, if you dont know what my car looks like, or cant picture "sunset red", imagine the MANLIEST shade of pink possible, and thats the color of my beautiful escort =) that color is more likely to appear in a flower or something that a bee would be attracted to, than say, silver or dark blue (respectively) so maybe thats the problem, but whatever it is, i want my gas tank back! so i carry a bottle of brake cleaner in my car at all times now - just to be safe

but anyway, thats all for now, just thought id talk about that little problem, let me know if you have any thoughts on it ;) ok, talk to you all later
