two days ago on the 6th, it was Sadies birthday, and by some miracle, she happened to not be busy, so we went to disneyland :D she was off of work at 1230, so while I was waiting to go pick her up, brittany came over for about an hour just to talk, it was good to see her again too (: she talked a bit about tom, and agreed to be really careful about how things are gonna go with him. hopefully all goes well. anyways, I picked up sadies around 1230 and had bought some snacks; pringles, cheezeits, rice crispy treats, quaker chips, and gum. then it was allll stuffed into her purse later lolz. first, we needed to go to stater bros. to pick up the house key from laila, since she had the keys for the car along with the rest. So we stopped by, got the keys, and went back to Sadie's place so she could get changed and everything. At first, she couldn't pick out an outfit she liked cause she thought she didn't look good in any of them. I told her that she looked fine in all of them, and I would've agreed/complimented her outfits more but I know it's not my place to shower her with compliments, so I didn't. She finally picked out an outfit that she was more or less happy with, but was still pissed that her bra straps were showing, buttttt she eventually got over it. xD once she got all ready, we left. The drive to dland was alright, we talked about something the whole way....oh yeah! mindgames and arguments amongst women and men. I mentioned how men can never win arguments because women will always end with "but still!" or "thats not the point!" and then discussed how girls almost NEVER tell you whats wrong. She knew exactly what I was talking about haha, BUT when I mentioned
"Okay, well typically when a girl won't tell me whats wrong, I either continuously pry, or get tired of prying and just say that if theyre gonna tell me, then tell me." and she said thats the wrong way. So I asked her what the RIGHT way would be. "well....." and I never got an answer. xD either way, the talk made the time fly by fast. However, Ken ended up calling her as we were pulling up to parking, and told her that, for whatever reason, he was gonna be a day late coming back. She didn't take it too well ): She was basically upset because her past few birthdays haven't been that good, and this was basically another thing she had to deal with on her birthday. she was also upset that she had apparently been being a bitch recently. I haven't noticed it that much at all, but maybe it happens more around other people? I dunno, either way, I was worried about her for a bit cause she was about to have a panic attack and was getting claustrophobic, so as soon as we parked, I just opened up the doors for her and she continued talking to ken. It didn't seem to be going too great for awhile, but he eventually cheered her up (: and he made her laugh her breathless giggle like he does everytime he calls her haha x) after all that was cleared up, we were both ready to have a good day. We hit up california adventure first because they close earlier. We went on the ladybug ride first. xD we shot a video during the whole thing too for whatever reason....but im glad, because we didnt really take any pictures. although I took a few of sadie's on the merry go round where she looks SUPAR happy xD I need to send those to her soon...anyway, then we went on the bumper cars and they were superrrr slowwww even though we both had gas pedals haha :D later on, we grabbed fastpasses for the mickey coaster while we waited in line for the toy story ride. Since the toy story line was supar long, we looked through all the pictures in my phone. lolcats and .gifs galore! it actually made time go by pretty quick; although, whenever we hang out time goes by fast. REGARDLESS. we looked through every single one of my pictures, amazingly enough. I was surprised @_@ then on the toystory ride, there were these two mexican kids that kept shouting at me when I got on. they were like "OYE! OYE! -mexicanblabberblabber" so I was like "uh...I dont speak spanish!" and they both looked confused, and I THINK they said "como se llama sus padres?" which means what are your parents names, I think. but that was a stupid and weird question, so I just kinda ignored them...haha. dude! at first, on the toy story ride, sadies was keeping up with my score! but then I ended up beating her by a lot at the end...but I was still worried at the beginning haha afterwards, we went on the mickey roller coaster. and GOD DAMNIT, MY PICTURES ON RIDES ALWAYS TURN OUT TERRIBLE. I think its cause my hairs usually everywhere, especially on rollercoasters....but still! sadies has longer hair than me and she still manages to look good B| She wanted me to go on the ferris wheel with her too....and I really do want to, especially since she seems like she really wants to, but I just cant. my IBS would freak out, and Id probably end up having a panic attack. Even if I didn't, Id still be nervous as fuck the whole time we were on it. so I had to unfortunately decline ): afterwards though, we decided to hunt down her a birthday pin cause she never got one! so we asked about....5 places. each one said "we dont, who told you we do? go to _____ place, theyll have them." and that happened, like I said, 5 times. One of the places was like "all we have is anniversary...." and looked at me kinda like "you want it?" so I told him Id take it, and I wore an anniversary pin all day xD UNFORTUNATELY, I only got one congratulations B| oh well. it was still funny when it happened. It was when we walked into disneyland, and the greeter told me, so I was like THANKS!!! :D and then I was cracking up and asked Sadies if she had heard what she said, and she was like "...no? 0:" so I told her what he said and we both started cracking up :'D I think at dland, the first ride we went on was the winnie the pooh ride. she loves seeing Eeyore, so xD afterwards, I got her an eeyore plush for her birthday. She wanted the round ball one, but they didnt have it, so we got a different one. The lady at the counter told us we could get it at the store in downtown disney, though, so thats what we did later :D I even got a sweet discount cause it was still technically "the holidays" :} we also went on the pirates of the carribean ride. I love how all we do is talk on the rides though...as opposed to just sitting and looking around on pirates, me and Sadies talked the entire time :D we also went on the buzz ride, I was DETERMINED to get 1 million points...unfortunately, I only racked up 326k ): which is still kinda good, but I wanted a mil damnit! B| I think that was the last ride we went on...space mountain was a 65 minute wait, and the park was only open for less than an hour, so we went over to the AMC theater cause Sadies had free tickets, so she used hers and I payed for mine and we got tickets for avatar (: it didnt start for an hour, so we decided to wait for the next hour and a half. actually, at first, I attempted to look up movie times on my phone...little did I know though! that my phone has like...no fucking battery. at all. and instead of being like "hey im gonna die soon, so be careful!' it goes "hey, im dead. check out this cool verizon screen that confirms that your phone is dead!! what? use the power that were using on this splash page to help you send a text? fuck no! your phones dead fool! learn to love the splash screen!" piece o sheeeeeeeeeeeeit. windows mobile is indeed the devil. ANYWAY. me and Sadies sat outside the movie theater and talked about a lot of things, if I remember correctly, we mostly talked about how Laila's been out of it recently, apparently, and how Sadies has been trying to cheer her up but its not working too well. I hope that all clears up...I havent seen Laila since I drover her to work a few days ago, so I havent had the chance to talk to her. I think she's just got a lot of shit on her plate that she has to sort out herself, unless she decides that she wants other people to help her, cause she's always seemed like she prefers to help herself as opposed to letting others help. although, sometime you do need help from the outside. I dunno, I think she'll be fine once Ken gets back and realizes that everything is more or less the same, or at least easier because they wont have to worry about rent as much. Anyways, we continued to also talk about preference in the opposite sex, the way you can look at a group of girls and tell whos the bitch, whos the insecure/doesnt fit in as much one, and the alpha, haha :') the entire time we were talking though, Sadies was shivering pretty intensely. I wanted to give her my jacket, but she refused. There were really no places to sit inside, so we just went into the movie about a half hour early. AMC theaters are....incredibly shitty, d00d. I thought theyd be okay, but the sound kept getting louder and quieter, and the screen wasnt pixelated necessarily, but it was like looking at an oldschool big screen tube tv up close. you could see some pixels, I dunno how to explain it. Either way, it seems like she really enjoyed the movie because she loves nature&whatnot, and Avatar had a lot of amazing details with the animals and plants that they created for their universe. Although, I think she slept through most of the epic battle at the end...but we were both tired. We got out of the movie around 1am or so, I think, and we went to drive home. Poor Sadies was super tired and super cold....I turned the heater way up when we got in my car, and she layed back in her seat and took a nap the entire way home. We got to her place around 2am, skipping burgers completely cause we were both tired, and since she had work in only an hour, she asked if Id stay over, so I figured why not. Especially since target's by my house, and I couldve easily given her a ride the next morning. I mean, yeah dland was fun, but it was kinda my fault for keeping her out late, so the least I could do was give her tired body a ride to work :B anyways, we both fell asleep around 2am, right when we got back to her place. when I woke up randomly, I asked her what time it was, and it was 5am; an hour after she was supposed to be at work. she was way too tired and sore apparently though, so she called Jenny and just rescheduled her shift to today as opposed to yesterday, and jenny seemed pretty cool with it. So, we ended up sleeping in until like....11 or something like that xD we got up and had spaghetti for breakfeast....her idea not mine lolz, and she talked to me about some of her ex's. In a way, im a bit envious. I have no idea why. Even if she regrets being with a few of them, she got so many experience from being with each one of them, and has so many stories about what happened with them too. Me...Ive got nothin'. but im not gonna let this entry get depressing, so im gonna completely avoid this subject. ANYWAY. after breakfeast, she showered and got dressed and we ended up getting out of the house around 2pm or so, then headed over to the verizon store and the blockbuster store. I got a car charger for my piece of shit phone, and she looked through phones, and realized the greatness of the env touch. I loved that phone a lot more than this phone....damn, wish I still had it. Ill have to get used to devil mobile. Then we dropped off the blockbuster videos we had rented a few nights ago, and ken called her. so they talked the entire drive home, and she gave me a veryquick goodbye when I dropped her off by her mailbox :') then I headed home, unshowered, smelly, hair everywhere, clothes from yesterday still on, about to get ready for work! so i got home, got ready, and went to work.
all in all; amazing day. I hope there will be a lot more to come. I love meeting people like Sadies who completely change my life....in one way, or another. Of course, everyone I meet and become friends with changes my life in some ways. I get a different perspective on life, maybe pick up a few of their personality traits, and perhaps get a few stories. But Sadies...is just so positive almost all the time. I love surrounding myself with positive people, and she's basically the definition of positive. Time always flies by, we always have something to talk about, and she continues to intrigue me. I wonder how things will go when Ken gets back...I hope Ken and I end up getting along, cause I know he's gonna be around often now that he's back (obviously) xD he seems alright so far. it doesn't seem like, on paper, that our personalities would click. but from the brief moments we've "interacted," he seems alright. Ill make it work, regardless, cause I wouldn't want us to get on bad grounds and have me not be able to hangout with Sadies. Plus, he may open the door to lots of new friendships, just like Sadies had to me with Apollo and Laila. 2010's gonna be a good year, I think. Its gonna be even harder to balance out all my friends, family, jobs, and school, but I think I can make it. Theres a lot of shit ahead, but with the help of my friends, I think I'll be able to make it. I'm burning, but never consumed.
