As if this day wasn't weird enough. I just got an email out of the blue from someone I haven't heard from in YEARS. I've know him since I was 4 years old and he was 6. We literally grew up in each other's pockets. When I was 12, I thought for sure we would get married someday. Matter of fact, once when I was about 9, we had a pretend wedding. Yeah...shut up, there's not a whole lot to do in rural Pennsylvania!
So I get this email out of the blue. Probably because my mom and his dad talk from time to time.
He's apparently deploying to Iraq on Tuesday.
