But what kills me is that many of us can sit here and read and write and talk about how dark those boys' lives have been, the dark things they have done and seen and my fucking lord it doesn't get any darker than Winchesterland, kiddies.
We talk about how we understand them and their pain and suffering and why they do what they do (the good AND the bad) but as soon as one of them truly falls into a dark place, fueled by that much pain, confusion, loss, grief and anger we have the nerve to think "Our Sam and Dean would never..."
First of all, that tells me that to fandom there's a difference apparently between the fictitious Sam and Dean and OUR fictitious Sam and Dean! Either way - keyword here is FICTITIOUS. Some of you would be ok with Sam fucking John when he's 15, but have a problem with a soul-less body that isn't exactly rotting by the way, as long as Ruby is in her. Second, you can't judge where pain and desperation will lead you, until you've truly been in a place that brings it.
Of course that does just go to show that sometimes Eric and Co. could do nothing that wouldn't piss off some people one way or another. Damned one way or the other. Someone will always end up pissed
Didn't mean to offend anyone and I'm sure I did. But I just don't have the energy for this wank crap. It makes my brain and heart hurt and takes away the enjoyment of my show. Hello, people!! Whatever happened to something like this:
