fioux coppers

ok, so today i went over to niji's and played some computer games but that's not important, what is important is what happened afterwards. we went to the accoustic for dinner and poetry slam. not much that was special about the poetry slam. the poetry was mostly bad. so, after a while people are leaving and some of us decided to bum around downtown for a bit before heading back to nijis. so we go to the top of this building that you can get to because of a staircase. we are up there for maybe 10 minutes when we see flashlight beems. i thought that it was other kids so i started to leave and this guy is like "where you goin?! stop!" or something to that effect. so after a quick search of my pockets, these 2 30-something guys start asking us these questions like "have you ever been talked to about being up here before?" and "have you ever been up here before?" and "do you kids have any drugs?" in a real official tone, even though they are just in, like, t-shirts and jeans. so they start to take down our info. and they start with me. i told them the following:

my name is Ross Johnson, my adress is 1512 Olson street in Osseo.

basically i lied becuase i'm thinking that there is no way that these guys are cops because
A: they didn't say "stop! police!" when they told me to stop
B: they weren't dressed like cops
C: they hadn't shown any id
D: the only thing about them that seemed at all cop like besides the attitude was the big black flashlights available at any k-mart.
pretty much the most common last name with the only streen in osseo that i could think of. so then kate is like "are you guys cops or something?". then they flash us these badges that were uder their stylish hawiian style t-shirts. in retrospect i should have asked for a badge number. so kate and niji gave them real names and adresses.

on the way home i told my mom about it and her opinion was that they were deffinately not cops. i think that they were probably just looking for drugs to confiscate to sell. and if they were cops, what are they going to do about it? even if they did decide to make a big deal about it (which they aren't acording to them) they didn't identify themselves as police when they told me to stop, or when they searched me, or when they took my name down.

stupid fioux coppers...
