Spring Break
Spring break was too too short, yet so so sweet. I enjoyed every bit of it, not to mention the FRESH AIR that my lungs were deprived of.
Last Friday, I left early in the morning, skipping the class with the professor who mite as well be the energizer bunny's grandmother.
So on Fri:
Kas picked me up around 11 and we went straight to the movies. He was so cute, sporting sunglasses and looking sharp and all. Its soo good to see him again.
Sat:
Kas and I went to visit Teddy and his pregnant wife. Baby's are coming left and right!! then we all went out to a nice dinner at my favorite Korean restaurant. They absolutely loved it, which makes me very happy wen i see ppl enjoying wat i enjoy. The double date was sweet, love is such a wonderful thing once u find it. Then we all went back to Teddy's place for drinks and to watch a boxing match. It was an easy, carefree night_ old friends catching up with each other and not a worry in the world.
Mid-Sunday:
I went home to catch up with my ADORABLE niece. She's so cute. Learning to talk and bcoming more mischievious than ever.
Mon:
I went to visit my good old STCC, catching up with former profesors and Carol and Andrea. I dropped the bomb on Andrea, letting her know that Kas and I are together, and she took it pretty hard bc i'm her baby and all. So she called Kas out of his office to verify and yep....we've been at it for more than a year and now the truth is revealed. It was funny how she took it but she blessed us with her love. I later found out from Carol that Andrea's 3 mths pregnant, which is awesome bc shes been trying for so long and she deserves it. She'll spoil her kid rotten, but wat are they for rite. Am so happy for her.
Wednes:
Andrea managed to recruit me to help at STCC with their annual multi-cultural luncheon. It was a bit weird having ppl pass by with a confused look, wondering if i've dropped out and worked for food service instead. OH AND...RAJAH was there!! I was busy advertising the vietnamese Eggrolls/Springrolls, so wen he came up in line for me, i was screaming !EGGROLL?!! in his face. lol. My response was delayed, but i was a good sport. Gave him a quick hug and told him i'm in NYC and all. Good thing there was a line behind him, so i shooed him off b4 any awkwardness could accumulate. Eh. He's still not my type. felt absolutely NOTHING. Kas was there too, but they didnt run into each other.
Thurs:
Went to get hair fixed and highlited with Lyna and her bf. In less than a wk, i went from being an all out red head to a blonde. Now i like my hair, its like a rainbow. Am all geared up for summer man. ehe. We 3 went out to lunch afterwards. It was nice. Guess I'm slowly adjusting to Tom. Its all good.
Fri:
I was a bit moody. I dropped Kas off for his usual Friday movie while i went and shop for a gift for a baby shower. He told me boi, but it turned out to be a girl, so we had to go back and exchange the gift. I was pissed at him. During the baby shower, there was games and kas had to drink apple juice out of a baby bottle. It was funny. It was his first baby shower party...cute yet awkward for him. Then him and Carol got a bit carried away with dancing Salsa, turning attn from the expecting mother to them twirling on the floor. The party was a bit boring so that was a bit more entertaining. lol. Forgive me.
Sat:
WAS AWESOME!! I hung out with my 2 older brothers. We went out to a shooting range and i got to SHOOT A GUN for the very first time. I shot from a 1882 (antique) policeman's pistol and a HUGE HEAVY military gun. That shit was LOUD. and let me tell you: Beware bc am DANGEROUS!! lol. I was the first to shoot down the target piece of wood. It was awesome. Too expensive to be a hobby tho. I have to say, it does relieve stress tho. Mad at anyone? Go shoot a few rounds at a range and u come out fresh and emptied of frustrations. Word of wisdom: RESPECT the gun. Its not pretty wat it did to the targets, imagine wat it can do to a human being. A bit frightening. Then went out for a little family dinner and dropped by to visit my other niece. How fast they grow!! She's ADORABLE TOO, such cute little things.
SAT nite:
SEX TOY PARTY!!!! at Carol's. It was interesting. Saw some BIG stuff baby. It was fun. I bought some "special" lube. I gave the lady my email so i'll b getting updates. ehehehee. Kas is soo against those things. I guess he mite be a bit threatened. lol. But u noe wat, at the end of the day, nothing like the real thing baby. lol. Think if i bought a dildo, kas would take me straight home and not talk to me til next year. lol.
Sun:
Beautiful day. Went and saw first half of Kas's soccer game. Then went home to hang with my niece a bit b4 I leave. Kas came and picked me up, my niece was sooo adorable, and charmed him. It was hard leaving her, she was holding onto my leg and all. I love my monkey.
So the wk was short and sweet, BEAUTIFUL weather and sweet loving makings. Kas is so good to me and i just love him more everytime i see him. Its truely something i've never had before.
Now am back in school, feeling refreshed. Though reality doesnt take long to slap me in the face as i was walking down 7th ave and puffs of smock were attacking me, while at the same time_ the taxies were trying to run over me while i have the right of way to cross. Good ol NYC.
