So my job is very physical--I'm on my feet for basically eight hours straight, I'm lifting things and dragging them around and walking fast, etc. I've definitely lost weight since I started working there.
This is great, but I could be losing much more weight if I could not eat so much when I come home. The problem is that when I get back it's like midnight, I haven't eaten anything in hours--if at all--and I'm sore and achy and I feel like I deserve some freebies, you know? And then I go kind of overboard. Not a binge, but not exactly a restrained meal, either. And I drink a half bottle to a bottle of wine. (I have the day off tomorrow/today, so hopefully I can finally get around to buying some liquor so I can at least bring down the calorie aspect of that.)
Meanwhile, I have a totally inappropriate crush on my boss, which was definitely reciprocated initially but now seems to have scaled back (BOOOO) into a more friendship kind of thing. Oh, well. Maybe it will scale up again--that's my experience with this kind of thing. I went on a date last weekend, which was weird (as in, the actual date was weird), but good for me to do. It reminded me that I am capable of dealing with dating and stuff.
Annnd, I'm moving in the next week or so. Getting out of my parents' place again will be really, REALLY good for me. I'm pretty excited for that, and for having my hookah back, and being able to have more complete control over the contents of my fridge.
God, I'm so tired. I should have gone to bed an hour ago. Sigh.
