So I've heard from a few that the new Modest Mouse isn't so bad.
They weren't lying, geez...it's good.

Another good thing I heard about was the new Mogwai. Yet again, not lyin'.
Although I must confess I like it so much more than Modest Mouse, I almost wish I had bought two copies rather than the MM album. Although I was also looking at the Smiths, but didn't know which album to look at so I didn't get one.

One bad thing that I saw recently was the Avril Lavigne video: twice.
It's not often that I'm this antagonistic towards a person I've never met.

Another bad thing: the fact that people like Kerry. Sure, he can talk publicly better than Bush, but the man's an egomaniacal moron. He's another guy I can openly dislike without knowing.
People say that Bush is rather exorbitant in his spendings?
Hear this: Kerry spent $27.9 million on advertising in one month alone. Don't you ever tell me that he's what's good for America, if he can spend that much to have his running mate talk about what a great guy he is.
I want to know what great things he's going to do for America, which so far are not very appparent. I want to know how he's going to do them. And I want to hear it from him. I want plans, and details, and lists.
Just thinking about the upcoming election made me so angry today, twice, that I kind of took it out on my mom and felt bad; all is not well.

Speaking of good things vs. bad things--I love my flowery shoes, but they hurt now.
And they stink. So I'm going to retire them.

One more good thing: I've made some new friends recently. And I decided that preppy kids aren't as horrible as most make them out to be. They're better friends than scenesters, I'll give them that much.

Much better.
