I had a leaky tire and needed an oil change, so I took my car to Tires Plus to get it fixed up. They informed me that I have bent tire rods. And torn outer CV boots. This is Greek to me; however, their price tag to fix all that crap is almost $1100 with labor and stuff. Even if it's cheaper somewhere else, which is likely, I am definitely NOT willing to put any real money into my car at this point. It's just not worth it for a '99 Altima. So methinks it's time to get a new car. I'm debating between a sedan and a small SUV like a Honda CR-V or a Toyota Rav4. All wheel drive is appealing for winter, but I also really like my Altima (and the new ones are hella sexy).
