mmmm.
It is the last day of the year. Remarkable.
I am trying to write my professional statement for my grad school application. I am not. Instead I am listening to a group of five 45 year olds from eastern washington talk about laser coffee grinders, dave matthews, and skiing. A change of pace from the usual crowd I encounter at my favorite coffee places.
My trip to Europe is a major source of excitment. Iceland! Norway! Finland! Sweden! Denmark! Estonia! Woo!
California was a fine trip. There was some family time, some sitting in the sun time, shopping time (h & m), too much food time. I am, however, glad to be back in Portland with tofu and soy products and young folk and coffee and friends.
2006 was an okay year. Much better than 2005. 2007 will be better yet. I plan on wearing lots of skirts in 2007. Dressing up is something I greatly enjoy and it is easy enough to do. Also, I plan on doing lots of yoga this year. And having adventures.
I told myself I was going to finish all my grad school crap before the beginning of the year and I have less than 11 hours to do that. I must finish.
