Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I loved it I loved it I loved it. This is the first time in a long time that I've read a series' end and not felt that anything was missing. I loved the little epilogue, but I think that my favorite part was the duel betweeen Mrs. Weasley and Bellatrix LeStrange. Mrs. Weasley is a consumate mama bear, and you better not mess with her chicks!!! Oh, I'm mixing metaphors there. But maybe not. She's a mama hen, but if she gets her back up, she turns into a mama bear right quick!

I was a tiny bit disappointed in the "he's part of you" bit of the story. It seemed kind of cliched, and the resurrection of Harry Potter was a little too Jesus like, but I don't think that it could have happened any other way. I also liked that Narcissa Malfoy's love for her son was ultimately what killed Voldemort. Nice symmetry, I thought

I am kind of curious what happened to everyone jobwise. I think that we all assumed that Hermione would end up teaching at Hogwarts, but that obviously didn't happen. Wouldn't surprise me if she was Ministry of Magic. Or Ron, even. I suspect that Harry would have liked to lead a nice quiet life. I also wonder if Hermione's parents ever came back from Australia :)

Now, I am tired, cause it's 1:46, but I had to flail. I'll probably post again tomorrow after I've had a moment or two to ruminate

In short. LOVE
