New Orleans (naah-lens)
So, I just got back from "The Crescent City" and (surprisingly) I can't wait to go back.
Pros of New Orleans:
-awesome food
-buying beads is better than flashing your goods
-really cool, really old architecture
-Bourbon Street (duh)
-cobblestoned streets!
-nice taxi drivers
-warm sea air!!!
-the souvenir shops
-above-ground cemeteries that are everywhere
Cons:
-my xenophobia kicked in even though it's not even Mardi Gras yet
-endless walking
-really fattening food
-so much wind
-drunk college(frat) guys
-no clubs as good as what I'm used to
-rampant over-pricing
-trash everywhere on the streets
So, the pros outwiegh the cons. I can't wait to go back for like a week and take all the cheesy tours (swamp tour, plantation tour, Southern Comfort tour, riverboat tour, "haunted cemetery" tour, voodoo tour, french quarter tour, aquarium tour) that will be so much fun. So...that was my New Orleans trip! It was fun, but it'll probably be funner next time!
