I just stumbled onto this fic and have inhaled all the postings so far. This is completely addictive. Your versions of a future Veronica and Logan ring true, sadly. I'd like to think that they'd get their acts together and become functional, but history isn't exactly brimming over with evidence to support my contention.
Little Percy breaks my heart. I wonder how much Logan subconsciously identifies with a little boy that no one is protecting from the ugliness of the world? The scene where Logan watched Veronica get Percy to tell her his name was one of my personal favorites so far. His realization that she's able to work anyone, no matter their age, was wry and telling.
Thanks so much for coming out of the fic writing closet and sharing your bounty with the rest of us. I hope to be happily reading you for a long time to come! As an aside, I 'm also hugely curious to know what sorts of things you were writing before VM fandom took hold of your fancy. Impertinent you say? Quite possibly. lol
Now, I'm off to read your other WIP. Expect more rambling and barely cohesive feedback to come to your inbox soon. :)
Yay, thanks for commenting! I think Logan DEFINITELY identifies with Percy. His own childhood was so miserable, I feel like watching somebody else headed for the same fate is one of the only things that could shake him out of his own downward spiral.
As for what I've done before...nothing good. I've started so many things that I never finished, but there's something about VM that's uber-inspirational. I seriously can't stop writing these characters!
