HOME UPDATE
Bug and I have been living out of the Days Inn on Kingsway for the past two nights. If we're lucky then all the necessary plumping work will be completed today so we can attempt to move back in our bedroom for Saturday night. However, we'll probably move the rest of our stuff back in next week as we'll need to do a major cleaning job in the rooms. Right now about a third of our stuff is in storage in Surrey.
We still haven't had the ceiling leak fully dealt with yet, although it seems to have been caused up a gutter drainpipe which broke in a recent wind storm. The drainpipe has been moved back to where it should be, and we've had no more leaking in the last two days of rain. However, even if this somewhat solves the ceiling leak, there's still all the milldew and damaged carpet to get done. That'll probably be next week as well.
At some point, folks... I will write about our vacation, but once we *finally* get settled in and unpacked.
Last week we were in Haiti, but that seems like months ago now. After all this crap with our apartment, it's like we need another vacation.
