Finished picture of "Gluttony" (one of the Sins from Hopkins' work)
Took bloody well long enough. I'm doing something cute and fuzzy next, to balance things out. Maybe I'll draw Fnar, or Artisan...or something.
Been thinking about my novel more and more now. Yes, I used the word novel.
Not book. Not story. Not works. Novel.
Anyway. Had some golden ideas, and managed to come up with a few characters since last night, but not just any characters. Much better than standard.
So far on this little spree of creativeness, four characters have been born.
Castro - Crook, wheeler dealer, what ever you may care to call him. He's dodgy as either way. Inhabitant of Callisto, and it's twisting streets. If you shake hands with him, count your fingers afterwards. He'd probably try and steal them. Despite a slightly villainous/roguish look...he's good at heart. Just the sort I've needed to fill the "Good guy who breaks all the rules" role. Funny enough, he's inspired by (and named after) a friend of mine.
Jatt and Reck - Gotta put these two together, seeing as they're the only gay couple in the tale. The dynamic duo may be scripted as freedom fighters from the yet-to-be-named oppressed industrial city. All I know for certain is that I'm going to make Jatt as flamboyant and daring as possible, while Reck is more of a contrast. Quiet, and a little more introverted. But not a total opposite, that's too much of a cliche. Jatt's going to have his signiature purple bandanna, and possibly a scarf too. Not sure about Reck's appearance yet. An idea I had would be to have Reck save Jatt by taking a bullet for meant for him. Thing is, I don't want to kill off either of them. I can't bring myself to do it, because the two are so...aww. Y'know what I mean?
I can't be bothered to go into describing Dhaska. All you need to know is that he's a complete bastard, and a corrupt leader, who is slain by Hurst Van Evante.
Got what he deserved, bastard.
Going out soon. Who only knows what tonight will hold?
