Last night was Hellogoodbye/Punchline/Hidden in Plain View. Not my kinds of bands, but they're still really good. Jennell brought me to Daniel's house because Alex decided to bring her boyfriend (who then ended up not coming) so I could get a ride with Daniel. Daniel is so nice. ♥. When we were in line me and Alex started talking to these girls and guys behind us. They asked us where we were from, and I said Bethlehem. Then this one girl is like "...OH MY GOD. IS YOUR NAME JES? I'M LAINIE". lkJKLDJF. SO COOL! Okay. I met this awesome girl forever ago at a roller blading place and we lost touch. How cool is that that we met up again?
Heloogoodbye were a lot of fun to dance to. Near the end of their set the other bands came up on stage and started throwing snowballs at them. Crazy. Then I went and hung around the TMA merch table and sat on the window sill thing and started playing Bert's bass and making up really cheesy songs and stuff. It was a party. After that me and Melissa talked for a while about Regina Spektor. AWESOME! She's so sweet, that Melissa. Then later, after Punchline, I went to watch Hidden in Plain View's last song. IT WAS INSANE!!!!! All the bands that played the main stage just got up on stage and everyone joined in on a cover of "Smells like Teen Spirit." It was crazy.
LKSDJFLKJ HAHA When TMA were packing up their stuff, and there wasn't a lot of stuff left except Bert's bass and I think Benny T's keyboard this guy just walked over and picked up Bert's bass and started playing it. Me and Alex were like "SDLJF ??????".
Then we left. Jennell gave me a ride home. She's so awesome, seriously, she's one of the nicest people EVER. I hung out with Ethan a little bit, too. I didn't really know him all too well before but he's a really nice kid. And I got to see Alex! So yeah. It was pretty god damn good night. Le Tigre is on the seconddddd. Can't wait.
