Tell people a rock is their savior, they would worship it.
Its in our nature to seek truth and attempt to explian the unexplainble.
And when we cant, we say its God or some "High power".
People sleep better when they think their destiny and lifes are in another's hands. That way if they fail or something terrible happens.
They can say "its God's will."
Now dont get me wrong I belive in a Higher power, Or as my Favorite Quote goes.... I want to Believe

I believe in a higher power (well maybe not "higher" as it's within all things in my opinion) too I just don't follow religion is all....

My best friend and I have some really Interesting views on religion.
I could show you some things that would really test your faith.
There is one word that comes to mind when I think of religion
"Control”.

I want to believe.......It’s just hard sometimes when you really investigate and study it.
The truth has been so diluted.

I've met a lot of people from different faiths/religions and I've been to several temples and churches. I always find something about the people the the religion I don't agree with AT ALL (or THEY find something about ME they don't agree with at all). It doesn't bother me, really. I got my own faith and hope and just do my own thing.

My friend believes that religion creates a diveded world.
And when people are divided, they are easier to control and influence.
