Update update update
Not much to update, except KIRSTEN IS COMING IN TWO WEEKS! AND CARLA AND HER MOM ARE COMING HERE NEXT WEEK! I get VISITORS!
Other than that... I don't know? Set to move in to the new place September 1st, which is later than I wanted (and I REALLY want to get out of the barracks), but is acceptable. I really can't complain, considering the situations of other people involved: The current tenants, who might have to move in with friends or family on August 31st because of issues with the purchase of a house, the seller of that house who is selling it for 25k less than his mortgage and whose wife just unexpectedly died of a brain aneurism a couple weeks ago whilst in the house-selling process, Kirsten, who is having to stay on her dad's couch surrounded by her packed belongings and can't send anything until we have the place... Having to stay in the barracks an extra month is really not something to complain about, when stacked up against the other people's situations.
For those that don't know, my mom has a livejournal account now, souzalizardsmom, so feel free to friend her if you want her to know who you are and follow you. I doubt she'll be posting much (though you all and I should encourage her!), but... yeah. There you go.
I FORGOT TO CALL MICHELLE ON HER BIRTHDAY, I SUCK SO BAD. I will call her now.
I also need to call my mom. I am fairly constantly delinquent on this, though I DO call her pretty often, which is better than most sons ("Can I call you back later tonight?" then calling back 2-3 days later). I hope that absolves me to some degree?
Tomorrow through Monday morning I work. That will be the last 3-day duty section I have to work until the end of August. THREE WEEKS IN A ROW OF JUST TWO DAY SHIFTS! sooooooo cool.
