Arting-That is not Wedding Related.

I have a bunch of other wedding folk drawn, but one in particular was driving me nuts, and I figured that it was because he's never really been drawn..at all. Largely because Anukis decided that it was a good idea to wait and tell me years later, that she has a twin brother named Azra. There's a very long story behind this, that goes into mythology and superstition on their native island of Myrrh, but all that anyone that might ever see this needs to know is that Azra is a rather unconventional Lunar Goddess-because he's...ya know, a male. As such, he's a bit more effeminate than your average guy, and his parents have exasperated the issue by pretending that not only did his older sister never exist, but that Azra, is, in fact, the only *daughter* they ever gave birth to. So the poor boy has been raised as a girl all these years, and kept somewhat sheltered so that no one would suspect otherwise. He's nowhere near as outgoing as his sister, and is understandably backward, and conflicted on all kinds of issues, the least of which is, of course, gender identification. For all of that, however,he looks incredibly cheerful in this portrait. Oh irony.



Now, maybe, he'll let me draw him in his wedding finery. (He was smuggled off the island by Kipa and Rhodopis.~)
