If anyone is looking for a show to get into, I cannot recommend the BBC's Wallander highly enough. I've watched 3 of 6 episodes, and it is just...magical. They're based on books by Henning Mankell and set (and actually filmed) in the Swedish town of Ystad. Kenneth Branagh is so very human as the title character, utterly everyday and unremarkable, that you can't help but empathize with him.

Oh, and there's SWEDEN. When can I go to Sweden? It's been added to my 'must-visit' list. Perhaps when I go to Denmark and Norway and Germany...
