I don't think I ever said this, but I did get a new television. Got it at the very beginning of February, in fact. It's a 26" SHARP LCD flatscreen, which I got for a more than decent price at Costco - my brother's best friend is a member and he kindly took me. I love it and so far it works just fine with my old (circa 2000) DVD player. *knocks wood* I've yet to get the cables needed to hook it up to my laptop, but I don't see any need for that in the near future. *touche du bois encore*
