So after all of that...
I'm getting over it. Still in mourning, but moving on. It's just kind of a sad reminder when I wake up in the morning. I'm so in the habit of going out to the laundry room, saying "Hey, buddy," patting him on the head and making sure he's got enough of everything. It'll be tough to break that one.
Anyway.
Holy crap, America. I am amazed. And proud. And surprised that Florida went blue. Awesome. Totally awesome. And I'm so happy that I don't have to pretend to know anything about politics for another four years.
On the music front... Well, there is none. Not now, at least. I know, I know. All of you imaginary readers are so let down. The free music train is out of commission. It'll be back soon enough. I just don't have a computer right now. Something happened to the power supply on my desktop, so it's in the shop and I'm stuck with this crappy laptop. It'll probably be there a little longer than expected, though. It's a Compaq, and I've spent enough years dealing with them to know that they are pieces of shit and sometimes just need a good swift kick up the ass to function correctly. Like children. So I might have done some damage. We'll see.
(Just kidding about that hitting kids thing. I in no way advocate beating children. Well, most children, anyway.)
