(no subject)
hello all.
soo happening 45.... soo goood! the staff was so incredible. the happeners were so cool. the weekend could not have gone better!!!
it was such an emotional time though. there were a lot of seniors and I that were not going to be able to staff ever again and it definitely hit home. I cried during the weekend and the whole way home. some happy crying: i've made so many friends through happening and it has blessed my life in more ways than i could ever write about, and some sad crying: it's over, i'll never be able to bond with the staff and happeners agian.
don't get me wrong... i am so glad i have the chance to experience happening and be rector, and i don't think i will miss a single closing this coming year, but it's just sad that i won't be able to participate in it.
oh yes.. I also got to see all those exciting kids at closing!! i love them all... andddd i got to see Corey Jones!! It was very unexpected, and veryy exciting!! I thought he was at camp all summer, yet he is still playing at church on sunday nights. I like him a whole bunch and I do hope we get to hang out some more!
it's hard to believe that after experiencing such a wonderful weekend I could still be dissapointed by things. ha. I guess when you expect someone to do something and you get excited about it.. it can be a let down when they fall through.
I refuse to let this persons actions bother me though.
I am now finished with this dissapointment, just had to let it out.
