Recital Satuday at French Embassy. Nervous. Excited. Anxious. umm????
I had a voice lesson today with Kehembe Eichelberger at Howard University. She speaks my language...we were doing spirituals, and she was saying "Sing this part like Aunt Sue would if she was sittin in church, with her suit and big hat, rockin back and forth in the pew, and fannin herself while Aunt Maddie's right next to her." Why do I know EXACTLY what she means by that???
We just ate Chinese. mmmm.
