Okay, so I'm posting this early in the morning to be beat Logan, Brandon, and Chris's interpretation of last night. Ha. Ha.
All was going well. The boys came over for some tacos ala Nikkie, which were coming along swimmingly, until I put the tacos shells in the oven (like I always did at home) to heat them.
I sat on the couch for all of 5 minutes, and Chris hollers, "There's smoke coming out of the oven!!"
So, being stupid like I am, I rush over and open up the oven, and the hot fires of hell came forth. Literally.
The oven MELTED the tacos shells. People, emphasis is being placed on, MELTED here. And what was left of them was a-fire. Blazing in all of its taco glory.
Chris, being the firemanly man he is, got our fire extinguisher and saved the day, but unfortunately, he could not save the taco shells.
When the smoke had cleared from the apartment, (and after the neighbors came to see if we were dead), we dined on chicken and beef tacos, topped with a light mist of a carbon dioxide.
All in all, it was a rather pleasant evening.
I am just not allowed to cook anything ever again.
And ya know what? That's not such a bad thing.
