About race, federalism and Southern pride

Hi, I just joined here. I'm 18, I live in Warner Robins, Ga., and I'm of African ancestry.

I just wanted to post a few lines about my opinion concerning how race, federalism, the Civil War, secession, and the American experience all intertwine, if you all don't mind.

If that "sample statement" was directed toward me, I wasn't in support of any race in this post. I only asked about how African-Americans and those who hold true to the Confederate/Southern heritage can relate to each other and/or their symbols of heritage.

Is it that offensive to ask a question about race at a Southern forum?

If you're talking about the actual journal post, then that's my name up there, so its not anonymous.

If you're talking about that first comment that was posted by (Anonymous), then no. How exactly could I have commented to my own post (not a reply to any specific comment) anonymously?
