Real redneck day.

So today I realized, once again, how much I love being a country girl. I went home to crestview and was just looking around... I noticed that my family has a lot of "stuff" in our yard. We also have 3 trucks, 2 boats, a travel trailer, a trailer with a tractor, a dump-body (type of trailer), and an assortment of other things. Also- today we were smoking pork in 1 of the 3 grills we have. AND I was burning a truck-load of pinecones in our fire pit. Our next door neighbor from across the street came over to show off the buck he shot, and we gave him ice from our icemaker (a big one outside) for keeping it cold after he cleaned it. The dogs love deer blood, but we didn't let them have any today because they just had baths. My mom planted trees around the yard. My brother blared music from his truck. All in all, anyone driving by would label us "Redneck." (and then if they knew my brother was going gigging tonight- they'd know it was true- lol.)

But I love the country. Our house is too urban for my tastes. I want to live way out near a lake maybe in the mountains... and have a dog or two. *sigh*

Anyhow- I'm tired. My diet is horrible lately, but mostly just on the weekends. My Maw-maw brought me snicker brownies and apple pie today... like I need them! But she says that the rest of the family is too fat for them, and I'm the only grandaughter that can eat them... lol. It's nice of her to say that, but if I'm going to stay fit the brownies and all need to disappear... and they will... after I try them. lol. I think I'm going to try one- pray the rest get eaten, and if not throw them away. Or hide from them. I could hide from them!!!

Okay I'm going to go brush my teeth and go to BED! My eyes burn from all the smoke.

God- have I thanked you lately for blessing me with an awesome family? Thank you. so very much...
