I know it's been a while but I just had a thought. How do know if your friends are truely your friends? You can tell them everything and assume they do the same with you but honestly never know. How can you tell if they only stick around to be polite? What if they secretly can't stand you and wish you'd go away? You give them a shoulder to lean on and let them know that you're there for them for whatever but for all you know in the back of their mind they're thinking "i wish this bitch would just leave me alone". You can swear up and down that what you and your best bud have is real without a doubt but the honest truth is that nobody can be 100% sure. It sucks doesnt it.
