OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. WE WON. OH MY GOD WE WON WE ARE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. OH MY GOD.
That was a *terrific* game, even if the second half nearly gave me a heart attack. Texas played an OUTSTANDING game, having to deal with losing McCoy like two minutes into the game. Gilbert had a shaky start (true freshman! Crazy!) but man, he gained some confidence and brought UT back. He is going to be crazy good when he gets more experience. I tip my hat to the Longhorns because they made this a fantastic game.
My boys never gave up, however. AND I COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD OF THEM.

ETA: Seriously, I feel horrible for McCoy. Classy speech, McCoy, and I hope your injury isn't too serious.
