1. OMG STOP BEING SO DADGUM COLD, ALABAMA. Seriously, this whole "hey, let's not get above freezing for a week is a grand idea" is NOT ON. We're ALABAMA. Cold to us is, like, 40 degrees. NOT A HIGH OF 10.

I've been in Newport Beach (near Pasadena, where the game is being played) for the past week, and I've been seeing people with Alabama (and Texas) shirts everywhere. I'm betting they're all very happy they're visiting sunny SoCal (where's it's been mid-70s all week) instead of being at home where it's apparently freezing.

BTW, I'm going to be rooting for your team tomorrow. Partially because I just don't think I could take Texas winning another NC in the Rose Bowl - the last one was the worst sports-related heartbreak I've ever had (stupid 4th and 2! Stupid refs calling that turnover! His knee was down! etc etc etc). And I just can't stand Mack Brown. Love Colt McCoy - can't stand his coach. Aaaannnd, Alabama deserves this one. Our low on Friday will be -18. Is it bad that I'm laughing at a high of 10? That's bikini weather around here, not that anyone would want to see me in a bikini. LOL!!!

I think of you every time they mention that game. I'm hoping Alabama kicks ass and takes no prisoners. :)
