For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.

...I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

*Camp was amazing. End of story. I had a fantastic time and met a lot of fantastic people. :) Way to redeem yourself CCC. Kudos to you.

I also worked my butt off. I wont go into details (you can ask me about those) but I pruned hedges, trimmed bushes, painted the baseboard and door frames in a hallway, played with rude children, learned what baby cockroaches look like (gross), saw what a condemned house looks like, mowed a front and back lawn, trimmed more bushes, nailed down plywood to a kitchen floor, talked with a lot of different people in different situations, built a wedge ramp, chopped wood w/ a circular saw, and trimmed more bushes.

All in HOT HOT HOT weather. But it was great. I feel a lot better. I felt useful. Its so refreshing meeting new people. I really need to work on being more social. :)

I also feel a lot closer to God now. I know I don't talk about religion a lot, but I am working on being more open about it and attending Church more regularly. The worship services and the passion of my fellow campers really hit home with me. I want to be more like that. So thats my goal now :)

Finally got back today and took a 3 hr nap. It was amazing. Then mom and dad and I went to foothills brewery in downtown Winston Salem. I had a yummy buffalo chicken sandwich. Now I'm off to shed night at Britt's. I miss them. We'll see how long that lasts.

Hopefully I am going to G-boro tomorrow to meet up w/ Miranda :)

god, work, camp, winston salem, carolina cross connection, foothill brewery
