I went with an organisation called Rotary. They're spread all over the world, there's probably a club near you, too (I had no idea that I actually already knew the guy in charge of my district until he came to interview me for the exchange.... ^^x) ....I don't know the exact adress... (Even tough I feel I should, sorry u_ux) But If you search for "Rotary International" you'll probably find something. I wrote an E-mail to them and said I was interested in an exchange. Then they came over to my house an asked a few questions... Where I'd like to go. And very important: Give GOOD reasons why you want to go. Not everybody is picked, it's a scholarship. And if you're good in school, the chances are higher that you get picked... Then if you are a lucky chosen one... I'm afraid you have to fill out tons of forms.... And yoou get invited to Orientations, where you meet other exchange students.
All in all, you get to pick 3 countries, and you wil be put in one of them. Of course you have a preferance... mine was Japan, but there were too many applicants.... so I chose korea. ^_^x so now I'm here.
And Rotary is all very official etc... but don't let that get in th way of you having fun.
I hope I could help you. If you have more questions I could try to answer them. ^_^x I don't bite.
