Argh I had wanted to post this on Friday~

On Tuesday we got told that EVERY SECOND COUNTS! We cannot waste time!!
I did the math (in hours):
24x7 = 168
168 - 16(lectures)-32(time we are supposed to be spending on uni)= 120
120 - 57(if I sleep 8 hours a day)= 64
I take about an hour to uni and back = 60 (I don't have lessons Fridays)
If I had a job, it would be allowed to take up a maximum of 20 hours = 40
That would be 40 hours of ごろごろごろごろごろごろごろごろごろごろごろごろ a week.
which is 5,71428..... bla lets say 5:45 hours of it a day.

I did more loafing around than 5 hours on Friday, but hey, I did the homework I wanted to finish. I just hope I didn't get too enthusiastic on the history part again. We are supposed to compare an old event with a new one. First I wanted to do something on this years Love Parade in Duisburg gone wrong, but I couldn't find a historical equivalent. So I stuck to something I felt I knew about: I ended up comparing the banquets of the first Japanese delegates to the USA in 1860 to modern Japan Days conmemorating the treaties signed back then.
2011 is a bad year not to be in Germany, we got the Eurovision Song Contest, the Women's Football World Cup and a massive J-Day, because it'll be the 150th anniversary of the Prussian-Japanese treaty. I hope I can make it, looking at my calendar, it's two days after a catering assignment! (...Which I already have an idea for, fufufufufu)

Besides, in my opinion the plan was made for people who have a life/job, as I don't have either, all I can do in my spare time is do stuff for uni. I have to write down what I do this week, but to be honest I think it's none of the the uni's beeswax how I use my time at home. And I have to write down my aims and objectives. Apparently "doing well" is insufficient. But that's what I want to do. I don't know how good I am at this stuff yet, but I chose to do this, so I plan on making the most of the three years of study (+ one placement year) here, and then the world's my oyster again.
I can go anywhere. It's what I've always done.
If I do well = I can get the scolarship for Korea!
If I do well = I can get into university!
Nobody wants to do badly. Do you think they'll be happy if I wrote down "I plan to understand economics, even though it's something I've dreaded."?? Because I just can't put down "by the end of this month, I want to have all the routes unlocked on my Pokéwalker". I know that much.
I guess I'm what the PDP (Personal Development Profile) teacher called a "holiday maker". I'm here, but my head is somewhere else. Or maybe it's more of a "I want to be on holiday-thinker", since I still see the task before me, but think of the wonderful things I can do afterwards if I do well.

Yuuki showed me this site you can use instead of google: http://uk.forestle.org/
You can set it to your country and you can also change the background colour to black, so you can save energy on your PC and rest your eyes. And you're saving trees with every search. I try and use this now, but the habit of typing in "google" into the task bar is a hard one to beat ^^x*

Oh yes, I had my French lesson on Monday and I must say it is nicer. I'm fresher in the mornings and the teacher is really nice. The group is small and I feel it's the right level for me to revise and reactivate the dormant French in my brain. It's a shame about the Japanese, but I'll make the most of this now.

Yesterday (Saturday), I made Shabu-Shabu with two friends from uni at my place! We watched 'St Trinian's' and 'Pearl Harbour'. I had forgot how LONG Pearl Harbour is. After the attack, it was almost midnight and then I remembered that still had to fly to Japan... It's like the first part of the film is for women, with the love story and all that, and the second half of for men, with things exploding everywhere. And (but we didn't expect anything else) we were sat there in some scenes thinking "This is SO American". XD~
Great film, only so very, very lo~ng.
