Eek, I've been neglecting LJ again.

My back still hurts from hitting a rock in the Provo River while tubing like two weeks ago. Ouch.

<-- latest drawingz.

I'm thinking about drawing some stuff for my dorm walls, but I haven't pulled anything out for a few weeks now. Artist's blockzerz?!1?!?!?

I'm leaving in just over two weeks! I can't take very much with me to Chi-town, which kind of sucks. There's no way I'm lugging a ton of crap back with me to Utah next summer.
My dad's decided to convert my office and take my desktop computer, so I'm making the most of my last few days with my beloved 3 GHz processor.
I guess I'll be taking down my posters, too. I spend most of my time in that room when I'm at home, so it's going to be weird not to have it when I get back. I love my poster-clad closet and my cluttered bulletin board.

Silly, I still have my UChicago poster up (the one above the periodic table). Mr. Warner fished it out of his trashcan one day and asked me if I wanted it, and I was like "uhm, hellz yeah I do!"
I don't want to take it down. A while ago, I was deleting old sent messages on my phone, and I came across one I wrote to On back in December that said, "I feel like I'm cheating on UChicago by applying Northwestern."
Haha, & now I'm going there! And I still intend on buying a "UChicago: where the only thing that goes down on you is your GPA" shirt, despite going to its (*gasp*) rival school.  : )  I also wouldn't mind a "Harvard: almost as much fun as abstinence!" shirt that I saw a Yale student sporting. College rivalry amuses me.

I hope my life in Chicago is brilliant too.
A part of me always wanted to end up there, even though Yale was my first choice. Such an incredible city. :]

EDIT: What language should I take next year? I'm deciding between Arabic, Russian, and Swahili. I want to take one that I'll use a lot. Arabic seems really interesting, and it might be useful if I end up pursuing international relations. And I've always wanted to volunteer in Africa...   And Russian is just dope.
My parents want me to pick up French again or take Chinese, but I think I'm bad at speaking Latin-based languages, and I already speak Chinese...I'm just illiterate (for the most part), haha. Decisions, decisions!
