So Tom has decided that he doesn't want to sign the separation papers with my mom that I need to get more financial aid for next semester since my mom will no longer be able to help me. He said that he will pay for my books instead and my mom told him that, yes, that would be fine. NO IT WILL NOT BE FINE. Why should I believe that when January rolls around and it's time for me to buy my books that he'll even be speaking to my mom, much less me. I would really like for her to stop trusting these people that don't give a shit about our family.

Okay, I'm off to go have coffee. Marriage is such a sham.
