I just had a nice visit with family. Son and his family came up and we went to see Daughter's new house. Then we ate pizza and hung out at my house.
Princess Big Girl amused herself doing "finger knitting." It's quite clever, and she's very good. She also made a potholder on one of the looms I bought earlier this year. She's still very pretty and smart. She's also good with the baby who is absolutely adorable. She has chubby cheeks and huge blue eyes. She doesn't look much like PB, who has big brown eyes and a petite face. Baby Cookie is a chunk. She's very interested in everything. Her smile is a delight. Her whole face lights up.
I could hug them both all day.
Other than that, life has been school and nothing but, and it's kicking my fanny. Spring break is in a few weeks and I can't wait for it, and for summer. The students are not at the top of my favorites list right now, either.
My sister went with us to see the house, and she loved it. It's a big, old house with lots of charm and a superb back yard. She also loved the baby and couldn't get enough of her.
She and I are going down to visit next month.
I have laundry to finish now and maybe a nap to take and a half of a stromboli to eat for dinner. Mmmmmmmmmm...
