Holy schmoly, school is canceled. I'm quite surprised because
it doesn't even look that bad out there. Maybe two inches of snow. It's still snowing pretty steadily, so I guess they're counting on the most extreme forecast. That's okay. I can do with a breather. Unfortunately I only have a few research papers with me to grade, but I've got plenty of other things to do.
I stayed up too late, anyway. What trash was I watching? Oh, yeah, the one about the matchmaker with the potty mouth. She talks about people, especially women, as if they're slabs of meat. I should have added that to my list yesterday. Why do I watch this junk when I have books? I guess I've gotten used to the background noise. We did that when I was a kid, too. My dad was always saying, "Turn off the television! Nobody's watchin' it!"
I've called my "snow list" teachers, so I am free now to do whatever. I think I'll spring into action and take a nap.
