Yamabuki Tennis Club Notice

I... know I haven't been doing my job as captain as well as I should.  Like many of you, I blamed myself for our lost. Maybe more so because I'm captain. But I know this isn't a valid excuse why I acted the way I did. I'm ashamed and truly sorry for this.

But the blame game stops NOW. For everyone. It's no one's fault that we lost. Every single one of the team did his best, from the regulars who fought for every point, to the rest of the club who cheered for every shot we won.

We're a team. We play together; we win and lose together.

Now, these club absences are worrying. We may have lost our shot at Kantou, but this doesn't mean our involvement in the club is over. There's still those special slots for Nationals we *may* be given a chance to play for, so we better be ready for it if our luck turns. We have to make sure that we will NOT lose again, if given another chance. Besides that, we still have a few months left together. Let's make the most out of it. Especially for us 3rd years. We still have to ensure our underclassmen are ready to take our places for next year. That remains our duty as club seniors.

This is the last year we have to play for a tennis club. Many of us will move on to other things after graduation. Tennis wouldn't be as important as we've always thought it is. So for now, while we are still sharing the same feelings of pride and accomlishment for every match won, let's pick ourselves up and keep doing our best.

So, I expect to see a full attendance tomorrow. We still have much to work towards for. Let's not give up now.

Everyone, leave a message to this post if we're clear.
