I know I sound like a nerd, but they're completely addicting. This semester I'm especially excited for because I can already tell that it's going to be 100% better than last. I think it's because I know I'm not going to be in Plattsburgh next semester, so I feel like I can appreciate it that much more. My schedule is also not as stressful as last semester's, so I can have more time for R&R, and less 9-hour learning center/class-filled days. I love my classes, since this is my women't studies semester, and I don't have to deal with Lubes :). And I've already got 2 programs proposed for my floor, and a lot of ideas for more... I have no new residents to get to know either, so being an RA this semester will be less uncomfortable and a lot more fun.
The first days of classes went well. I can tell that my Women and the Law class is going to be my favorite, which relieves me, because I know I'm still making the right choice to go to law school. The professor seems kick ass, and she's teaching the course from a feminist perspective, so I couldn't be more in my element. My independent study is another story, as I have no motivation to do academic work without classes and deadlines. Also, coming up with a good topic that's researchable sounds a lot easier than it is. So far, I think I'm going to stick with Privacy Law, but what about, I have yet to figure out.
This weekend I have to go home for traffic court, which I'm not looking forward to. But what I am looking forward to is a sweatpants party in meg's room tonight, so chao :)
