What if I cried and told you I couldn't wait?
"Kai, I have to go." Aoi pressed, but Kai just refused to let go of the other man's shirt that he kept in his grip strongly. "No. I don't want you to leave!" He whined childishly, clinging to him for dear life.
The guitarist had to admit, it was kind of cute to see his lover acting like this. So clingy and desperate. Though at the moment, he had no time to give his lover what he wanted. Gently, he grasped Kai's face, forcing the other to look at him. But Kai's eyes darted elsewhere, filled with unfallen tears. "Kai, look at me-"
"Why do you have to leave me?" Kai asked quietly, still not looking at Aoi, despite his request.
Aoi frowned slightly at Kai's accusation. Even if Aoi was going out of country, he was still with Kai. And he was surely coming back to him as well.
"Baby, I'll be back. I promise." He brushed his thumb under Kai's eyes, wiping away the leaking tears. "This is the second time, Aoi." He whined helplessly. "Don't go!"
Aoi sighed heavily at his lover's stubbornness. "I'm sorry Kai. I have to. Now I let me go before I miss my flight." Kai merely shook his head 'no', letting his silky, unstyled brunette hair fly as he did so.
Aoi framed Kai's face in his hands, ceasing his movements to place a chaste kiss on his lover's lips. It was a sweet distraction so he could easily unclench Kai's fingers from his black dress shirt. He let the kiss linger a bit longer before he pulled away with Kai's mouth following his needily. "Aoi..." Kai whispered against Aoi's lips, his eyes shut closed.
"Got to go." Aoi said firmly. "I love you." He pressed his lips against Kai's forehead softly before heading towards the door.
"Aoi-"
Quickly, Kai made a grab for Aoi, but he was already out of his reach.
"Bye baby."
"But, Aoi wait-"
Ignoring Kai's words as another attempt to get him to stay, Aoi shut the door behind him. A dull bang sounded from the door, leaving silence in the apartment as Aoi headed to his destination.
"-I'll miss you..." Kai said softly to the atmosphere. He dropped his head sadly, slowly pulling in his out stretched hand to his chest. Aoi hadn't been gone for even a minute and Kai already missed him dearly.
Glumly he dragged himself to his and Aoi's bedroom, purposely throwing himself on Aoi's side of the bed for some sort of comfort. Kai let out a long, sad sigh as he took in the lingering scent of Aoi as he nuzzled into the black pillows upon the bed. Another two weeks without Aoi, he thought.
It was always so lonely without Aoi there.
Sure, Uruha or Ruki came over to pay visits, sometimes even Reita. But they never gave him company like his lover did. Well, of course they didn't-Aoi would probably be kind of pissed if they tired to give him company the way he did, Kai thought with a frown.
The silence within the apartment was interrupted as Kai's cellphone began to ring loudly from the night stand. Hastily, Kai scrabbled to his phone and flipped it open to view the screen.
1 new message, it read.
From: Aoi
I'll miss you baby.
How about you come with me?

Kai grinned widely at the words inside the glowing screen, reframing from squealing and bouncing around out of joy. He was definitely purchasing the tickets of the next flight to New York.

I don't like this very much. (>_<) But it's the only thing I had for "technology" besides awkward cybering and that's, well, awkward... I feel that I might have made some lot of English mistakes, so please remember it's not my first language.
