Summary: "What does it mean when your stomach feels sick and heavy and your heart beats quickly everytime you're around a certain person?"
"Reita..."
Ruki spoke softly.
"Yes?"
Reita replied simply, turning his attention from the rain to his friend.
"What does it mean when your stomach feels sick and heavy and your heart beats quickly everytime you're around a certain person?"
Reita could tell he was nervous as he asked this, his free hand playing with his shirt while the other held his umbrella.
"It means that you like that certain person."
Reita smiled, staring back into the heavy rain.
"Do you ever feel that way?"
Ruki looked at him hesitantly, his cheeks slightly blushed.
"Yes... Actually."
Reita replied again with simple words.
"Like... Around who?"
Ruki asked, knowing his heart would break if it wasn't him and be awfully jealous of that other person. He wanted to be that person!
It took awhile for Reita to even respond, as if the words weren't registering correctly.
Ruki stood apprehensively, chewing on his bottom lip lightly.
Reita didn't reply with words.
Instead he stood infront of Ruki, taking the younger boy's chin into his hand before pressing his lips against the others.
Ruki's body froze, wanting to respond to Reita's kiss but just seemed that he couldn't,
the way Reita's fingers so soothly glided across his cheek made it hard for him to stand.
Reita pulled away quickly when Ruki didn't return the action, looking a little hurt.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." but I needed it.
Reita felt as if he were going to cry.
He just wanted to disappear from the surface of the planet.
He was worried he ruined his relationship with the other boy.
But he loved Ruki since the day they met, and even if he were or weren't able to be Ruki's lover he'd always be his best friend.
"Reita..."
The taller blond was caught by surprise as Ruki's mouth attached to his own, Reita leaned down a little so they both had better access to each other's mouths.
Ruki dropped his umbrella, his hands exploring Reita's body,
obviously not caring if he were being soaked.
Reita couldn't help but toss his umbrella carelessly, holding the smaller boy close to him,
as if to keep Ruki dry and shield him from the slow cold rain.
Or maybe it was a grip, that he felt if he didn't have it, his entire life would end.
And that's what he did, he held Ruki as if life it self depended on showing the younger boy how much he needed him.
Reita licked Ruki's lips, tenderly caressing the plush mouth, begging for entrance.
Ruki quickly granted Reita's tongue access.
Their tongues brushed together shyily,
Exploring every inch of the unknown and identifying both of their unique tastes.
After awhile of getting use to each other, the awkwardness pretty much melting away,
They engaged into a battle of dominance, every now and then there was a soft nibble or a not-so-harsh bite.
Reita eventually gave up, leaving the dominant one Ruki,
Both boys broke the kiss unwillingly, Ruki taking Reita's bottom lip between his teeth and letting it slip out as he pulled away.
Their eyes locked for a moment, as if searching to know if that kiss meant the same to both of them,
As if to ask if this were a fantasy.
As if the answer resided in both of their eyes,
And yet it did, the soft adoration that was clearly visible to only the two of them.
Reita pulled Ruki closer to him, kissing his head softly.
"Ruki, it is you who makes me uneasy with myself, I constantly worry if I'm good enough."
Ruki looked up at Reita, smiling at the taller man.
"But, you're everything I have ever desired. You have really no reason to be so self conscious." Ruki insured.
"No Ruki, I do have a reason to worry. You deserve the best, and I want to give that to you."
Reita's sweet words trailed into his mind, he couldn't speak.
All he wanted to do was hold Reita and be oblivious of the rest of the world.
He nuzzled his face into Reita's soaked shirt, purring softly.
"We better get home... Before you get sick."
Though taking care of a sick Ruki wouldn't be a problem.
Reita grabbed their umbrellas, lacing his fingers with Ruki's.
Ruki leaned his head onto Reita's shoulder, adoring his wet scent.
"My hatsukoi..."
