7 miles in Tallahassee is not the same as 7 miles in Coral Springs.
The music store got in a piece I ordered, so I decided to pick it up myself instead of waiting for them to deliver it Tuesday. Nothing better to do (besides study). I googlemap it, 7 miles each way. My usual self-imposed bike radius is 5 miles, but in a push to get in a little better shape, I decided this could be good for me.
What google maps doesn't tell you is where the hills are or if there are sidewalks. About 5 miles in, the sidewalk ends, the traffic lights go away, and I'm basically biking on the highway. Thanks, google. I took the bus back home, because coming back I would have had to do the no- sidewalk/highway stretch uphill.
A good workout, nonetheless.
