Inertia.
Two quiet evenings in. Vacation has a strange quality, as neither leftyviolist, nor I have taken truly neutral, nothing-time in ages and ages. It's very, very odd. Things have been so slow, that I've had aa chance to play a couple of Video Games lately (and may I say that the developers of Metroid Fusion, and particular the people who designed Ridley should be consigned to a very special corner of hell where they are required to defeat her for the remainder of eternity).
Yesterday, leftyviolist and I went to see "King Kong". I must confess...I was faintly underwhelmed. I will ascribe this to two things. The first: I was feeling bloody miserable. (Today, I feel somewhat less miserable, but still...). The second: It is too damn long. It could easily shear off half an hour and lose nothing. Mr. Jackson...three words for you sir. Too Many Dinosaurs. That is all.
New Year's party in Chicago in two days...Then 2006. Miri it is, till sumer ilast!
