Thoughts and observations from the past few days

I need to grow my hair out. I've had 2 dreams now about longer hair.

The Wii Fit isn't as fun as it used to be. Mainly because the boxing has stoped regerstering when I dodge. Even when I litterally fall on the floor (by accident) it still says I'm high enough to get punched. Silly falable machine.

There is a machine at work that folds paper. That's all it does. But it does it loudly and quickly and shoots out the paper. It's oddly exhilerating. Everyone agrees, it's the funnest office toy, even though it is the most 'low tech'.

Kaleigh came to visit on her way down from Alaska to Texas. I'm a vegitarian so I did'nt want to do it, but when we went to Pike Place Market and she caught a fish at the fish market (it's a thing they do, hollar and throw the fish to each other and willing customers) I wanted to do it too.

There is a person only three years older than me at work. I am determained to be friends with him. He seems nice. He went to Evergreen, like half the people I know (at least half the people I know from the last 4 years anyways, not many Austin folks), and he drove a Chrylser, like I currently am. Horray for driving boats! They're conversation starters!

I want to make Justin and Cherish a boquet of origami flowers. It just takes forever and I don't know if I can match their house.

I've been people watching lately. Everyperson is beautiful. Especially when they don't think anyone's watching. They speak Russian on their cell phones, look like people I know, cry on newspaper despencer things, wear homemade scarves, and talk to eachother.

Walking out of the building yesterday one of my teachers was in front of me. He has the bounciest walk I've ever seen. And he manages to swaggar at the same time.

I want to watch all of Doctor Who over again.

The sky is cool. Because of sunsets, rainbows, black clouds, and that cloud I saw yesterday that very well may have been a UFO. Seriously, it didn't change shape in the wind. It kept a perfectly spherical form, it looked like a half-smooshed paper lantern.

Movies are good. Serious ones are good. As are children's films.
Inkheart has many good people in it Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren, a person I recognize from other stuff (like an episode of Doctor Who), Andy Serkis, and Paul Bettany's wife as Paul Bettany's wife. I wonder if that was a body double for Paul Bettany, or if those really were his abs...

Kaleigh gave me a cool complement on my eyes (who isn't obsessed with their own eyes?) She said they look like pecock fethers. Dark blue rim, blue, orangeish/greenish ring, black pupil.

She made me burst out laughing for a totally not-funny-enough-to-validate-that-much-laughter thing. I haven't done that in a long time. It was great and has left a more lighthearted residue in my life since then that I'm very greatful for.

My internship at the American Indian Film Festival seems too intense. I want to back out of it. But I think that it's a possiblity that I'll handle it and gain a huge sense of accomplishment come May 15th (hey, you, in Washington State, come to the concert I'm part of putting on! Then the filmfestival the concert is raising money for in November!)

I'm good at working in the Registrar's office (though I spend much too much of my time online and not working).

WOrking in the registrar's office provides a setting to become friends with people with connections, like student accounts. Thus I was able to get a refund at the 60% rate instead of 50%, even though it was turned in 2 days late.

I don't know if I want to live with my cousin when I move back to Austin. But I don't know where else to go.

I don't like the idea of not liking it, but I just don't like PDA. And it's all the worse when it's not PUBLIC because it's in my (their) HOUSE. Being alone while people are snuggling while you are all watching TV is quite miserable.

My brother and my favorite teacher both said that I write well, but I "can turn entire sentences into adjectives". What can I say? It's my style.

I worked on two Texas transcripts today. One from ACC and one from Temple. I felt warm and fuzzy.

I really like my scarff I got for Christmas.

I really like the music box I bought on Tuesday. It plays a verse of Yesterday (though not perfectly). I want to make it my profile picture on facebook, but haven't gotten around to it, and probably won't anytime soon.

And more stuff, but I'm guessing it's stoped being interesting to the outside (of my head) world by now.
