(no subject)
my steampunk jacket/sweater has a built in gas mask. i just need buttons, to attach the cuffs, buy boots/tights, finish my glasses and figure out what to do with my hair that makes me look crazy. hopefully i get a haircut soon, or i'll cut it at the con. and.. i don't have goggles! oh god! lol. a steampunk costume without goggles? blasphemy!
does any one have spirit gum or a way to attach my little glasses to my nose?

i just checked my account and my check was pretty large.. for some reason. i have enough extra to buy my BOOOTS!!! AHHHH! i'm going today! i'm so excited! -woosh-
and i forgot to mention how ungodly excited i am to see everyone's costumes! i'm sorry, i'm a ball of energy today.
Edited Edit: my boots are amazing, i got really lucky. erin; the manager at the costume store, knows me by now, and the boots i was hoping to get, because they're cheaper, were only a 5/6 and they were out of stock online. soo.. she gave me the tall ones (50 dollars) for 30! woo! she said it was becuase the were old. haha. they're really comfortable; but i don't know if i can bring myself to rub dirt on them.
