Well, where I'm from, it's all right if you don't understand or know the full reasons for why things are. That's just how it is sometimes - like we can't really explain love and happiness.

If you don't know how something works, you can't make it better; if my people had what you call 'magic,' they would relentlessly work to unlock all it's secrets. What if someone in your dimension already did that? Where would that leave you?
