I know there's still some of you who don't believe in magic. With any luck, I think now I can change those minds. You see, I just got one of my spells back - and this time, didn't have to sacrifice a thing. My memories are all in the right order with everything going as it should!

Okay, this is called Pearl.

[He closes his hands, wringing them a bit, concentrating... then, opening them, there is a ball of light slowly forming in his hands. Then, casually, as if throwing a baseball, he chucks it at a nearby tree - and that's one hell of a scorchmark it leaves.]

The ability to transform energy and all ready existing matter into another form. Whereas magic would be creating something out of nothing, psionics would be taking something that already exists, in example inert energy, and giving it a new form, like that ball you just threw.
